Jennifer Livingston, a morning anchor with WKBT-TV in La Crosse, Wisconsin, brilliantly articulated her self-worth and took a stand against bullying when responding to a viewer’s criticism about her appearance. The viewer assumed that Jennifer has led an unhealthy lifestyle. Although, Jennifer is not model thin; she is a beautiful, robust and bountiful woman. As you will see in the video, she gracefully and elegantly addressed the criticism and the bully.

I am so impressed by how this anchorwoman has used this incident to produce a positive message across the world. SO awesome.
Me, too, Wendy. I am excited for the days to come, as awareness is the first step toward solution. Thank you for commenting. ♥ Angi
[…] TV News Anchor Takes on A Bully! Kudos! (akissofbliss.wordpress.com) […]
I am so proud of her for bringing this out. She could have hung her head in shame and cried. But she stood proud (as well she should) and stood up for herself! What a huge risk. This has been an acceptable form of bullying for years and it is very hurtful. I watched Glee recently where they addressed this. I am glad this is being brought out. It is unacceptable to speak ill of so many other things because it is politically incorrect; this should be as politically incorrect.
I totally agree, Amy. Thank you for commenting. ♥ Angi
DOUBLE KUDOS!!!
Thank you! ♥
I saw this all on network news, obviously started by a Barbie bigot…
Most likely. 🙂
